I used the word practi-gal to refer women use characteristically feminine practicality. They are practical gals... practi-gals! People have found the term charming, although I haven’t heard anyone else repeat it. Mostly people think it is “cute”. No one has cast any scorn on the term. I feel if used more frequently it could catch on, at least in a small circle. When trying to fit it into conversation I have found that most women are practi-gals!
